Protorthoptera: Lemmatophoridae: Artinska clara

Note color pattern on this wing of a Protorthoptera, Artinska clara, from Noble County, OK.  Fossils on this page collected by Joseph Hall and Michael Montgomery and identified by Roy Beckemeyer.

Protorthoptera: Probnidae: Probnis speciosa.

Right and left, below: A very nice specimen of the four wings of a Protorthopteran: Probnis speciosa.  There may also be body parts preserved, but they have not yet been uncovered.

An interesting fossil - might it be an Annelida (segmented worm)?

Right and left, below: An unrecognized fossil.  Might it be an Annelida (segmented worm, e.g. a leech)?  No mouth parts visible at either end.
