The BRAVE 3000 on an early test flight at White Sands Missile Range.

The "missiles" shown on these pages are early development versions of the Boeing Robotic Air Vehicle (BRAVE) 3000.  I was chief engineer for this program in the early 1980's.  It used a very early 8088 style chip (64KB memory!) for it's flight control system.  Needless to say, the code was in assembly language.  Wow, it would have been amazing what we might have accomplished with a Pentium!
