Right - A "poison dart
frog" photographed on the trail near Cock of the Rock Lodge (1600 m) in the
cloud forest.

Left - what do puddling butterflies have to do with
amphibians? Right - the road-killed frog that the butterflies were
puddling on. Butterflies use carrion for acquiring minerals and nutrients
they cannot otherwise find.

Two more frogs, these found in the lowland forest near
Amazonia Lodge.
