A Web Page by Roy J. Beckemeyer

That's Misha in the background. He was our first lab and when he died in August of 1998 we had a really tough time. We decided immediately that we needed another lab to help us get over our grief. We also decided to get a yellow lab rather than a black one so that we wouldn't expect the new guy to be another Misha. His full name is "Beckemeyer's My Pal Joey". Just Joey or Joe for short.  Joe is a therapy dog.  He goes to the Wichita Children's Home and also to Liberty Juvenile Service and Treatment to visit children.  Here he is trying to get dad to put down his papers and pay some attention to Joe.

They say a dog and his owner sometimes start to look alike.  My sister, Elaine Soule, took these pictures at our family reunion in August, 2002 - I don't know about looking alike, but we sure seem to act alike here -
