Diptera: Micropezidae: Stilt-legged Fly

Right and background: Front view of a stilt-legged fly (Diptera: Micropezidae: Taeniapterinae: Rainieria antennaepes).  Note the white fore tarsi.  This is a female (pointed ovipositor).  This was my first look at a species in this family.  See BugGuide web site for more photos from other photographers.
